This cottonwood plinth has a cool twist to the bark as you turn it. At about 3 inches around and 2.25 inches tall, this plinth is perfect for a small scene at the top (76mm around by 57mm tall). The bark looks like rock-face already.

This piece is 2/3rds of a burl from an oak. It grew on the surface of the tree and didn’t require cutting. However, to make a display from the piece it was cut into 2 pieces. This one resembles a rock outcropping or cliff edge. With a foot print of 3.5 inches around and a height of 3 inches (89mm around by 76mm) this big guy will make a triumphant display for your hero or monster. There room for a tail to curl around the outside.

This small plinth of maple is darkened with Danish Oil with a walnut color, giving it a rich dark tone all around. You can easily fit a hero or medium monster on it. The plinth is roughly 2 inches around on the “top” and 2.5 inches by 2 inches on the “bottom” and 1.125 inches tall (64mm x 51mm x 29mm).

The insect riddled exterior of this plinth is stained with Reaper’s Spattered Gore. The “worm tracks” and texture of the exterior are washed with Reaper’s Walnut Brown. The lighter sections are where the bark used to be and thus it wasn’t weathered like the rest of the branch. Those sections are outlined with a black glaze to increase the contrast between the sections. At nearly 3 inches tall and a little over 1.5 inches around (41mm round x 73mm tall) this base could house a baleful demon or arch devil a little freehand painted summoning circle at the top could complete the look.

At 3.25 inches around at each end and 2 inches tall (83mm round x 51mm high), this plinth is befitting a dragon or great forest beast.
