These pieces of oak are cut from a board and have criss-crossing wood grains. They do not have bark. Their sizes vary from 1 inch by 1 inch to 1.25 inches x 1.25 inches and all of them are a quarter inch high (25mm to 32mm round x 6mm).

A spectacular round from a group of ornamental cherry trees near my day job’s office. This piece is sealed with teak oil and is covered in a couple varieties of lichen for great color. A proper 3.25 inches around on one end, 3.5 inches by 3.25 inches oval on the other and 5/8 inches tall (98mm x 83mm x 16mm) this piece is calling for an epic forest mount or perhaps just a classic forest dragon.

This fruit tree is a nice, dense wood that was the “wood” in golf clubs. The pith flecks make it quite striking and perfect for an old floor for a wizened wizard’s lab or the ancient bottom of a hollow tree lair for a druid. The piece is nearly 3 inches around and just shy of a half-inch thick (71mm x 71mm x 13mm).
This round gorgeous round is fiery and would look awesome under a fire giant or salamander. The piece is roughly 2.25 inches around and a quarter inch high. (57mm diameter x 10mm).

This red spruce with gorgeous, well defined tree rings is a great piece for your best monster. A gold dragon? Red? Multi-headed, multi-colored? Who knows, but the piece is 4 inches in diameter and a half-inch high. (102mm round x 12mm) Beveled edges give it that extra bit of show.

This spalted crosscut of box elder looks like a golden planet. It would look great with a cool spaceship hovering over it. The piece is cut from a larger board and rounded to about 2.75 inches around and is 3/8 inch thick (70mm x 10mm).
This piece of maple is from a well seasoned limb that had succumbed to spalting. At roughly 2 inches around and 3/8ths inch in height this piece will easily compliment a larger creature such as a minotaur, ettin or other large humanoid.
