Burl, Oddity, Red Maple
$5.65$4.65This kidney shaped piece has a wavy, water-like surface and would be perfect for a lizardman, a hippocampus or some other aquatic creature. This classic stand shape is 3 inches long, 2.4 inches wide and 3/4 inches tall (76mm x 61mm x 19mm).
Flames, Oak, Set of 3
$14.65This set of oak pieces are all cut from the same piece of seasoned wood, finished with teak oil and the sides of these have been painted with Reaper Black Ink which has a semi-gloss finish to it that makes the edges look like they are made from anthracite. I originally was going to make a larger display piece out of these but I decided to leave them separated and sell them as a set. Perhaps you want them for a multi-tier display base or to just place them in a dish with some other interesting baubles on your mantle.
The flames are sized in order from the top then clockwise are:
A. 2 in x 2 in x 0.4 in (51mm x 51mm x 10mm)
B. 2.5 in x 1.75 x 0.4 in (64mm x 45mm x 10mm)
C. 2.75 in x 2 in x 0.4 in (70mm x 51mm x 10mm)

Oddity, Ornamental Cherry, “Zag”

The Dragon Eye
$42.65$41.65The Dragon Eye is a wonderful piece of Oak driftwood found on a beach of Seneca Lake in New York. And yes, it was shaped just like it is. The “lash” was broken but a little E6000 fixed that solid. The lash is painted in Reaper Black Ink.
I hand-painted a layered iris with a base of Reaper Carnage Red with some Reaper Fireball Orange, then some Realistic Water, some Vallejo Bronze flecks, another layer Realistic Water, then some Metallic Amethyst flecks, then more Realistic Water. The scales are a mix of Vallejo Dark Sand and Cork Brown. They are hand painted from the cracks in the wood.
Use it for a conquering barbarian leaning on his axe or mount it to a plaque.
Or just put it on your desk like I have for the last week or so.
