This piece of bark is cut and sanded, top and bottom. Just shy of 6 inches this piece could easily house larger creatures and resembles a rock outcropping on the savannah. At 2 inches wide and nearly 1 inch tall (149mm x 51mm x 22mm) maybe you could fit two larger creatures.

This is the smallest piece of bark and it has some wonderful bits of lichen on it. Imagine this underneath your ranger or barbarian. The bark is 1.75 inches long and 1 inch wide and just over a half inch tall (44mm x 25mm x 16mm).
The top of this piece of Black Walnut Bark is flat and rough. Perfect for the heroic pose of a champion on a horse or a mantling griffon sized at 3 inches by 1.5 inches and 1 inch tall (76mm x 38mm x 25mm).
This cross-section of a silver maple branch with a branch collar is a great stand-in for a downed massive tree. The piece is 3 inches long, 1.75 inches wide and 2 inches tall (76mm by 45mm by 51mm tall). This piece needs a stalking 4-legged predator, a blue alien huntress kneeling to shoot something in the distance, or just a bunch of grippli having a grand ol’ time. You could also cut a hanging notch or two along the flat edge and hang it directly on the wall.
These colorful rectangles are glued together pieces from scrap ends used to make cutting boards. The artisan used walnut, oak and/or cherry to get the fantastic patterns. The rectangles vary from 1 and 3/8 inches to 1.75 inches long are roughly 1 inch wide and a quarter inch high (45mm x 25mm x 6mm). They’ll look cool under the feet of your royal court or maybe a well off merchant or innkeeper. Patterns of wood and colors will vary from piece to piece.
