This long piece of Black Walnut Bark has a notch at the end that gives it a great feature for use as terrain in your wargame setups. The piece is 6.5 inches long by 2 inches by 1.5 inches thick (165mm x 51mm x 38mm). You can easily imagine your dragon, manticore or great cat stretched along the length of it.
This piece has a finished flat side and an unfinished top part so it’s setup for your cavalry or perhaps a centaur. It’s 5.75 inches long and 2 inches wide and 1 inch high (146mm x 51mm x 25mm).
This piece is shaped somewhat like a prism and has a thin flat space along the top perfect for a champion standing at the top. It’s 5 inches long and 2.25 inches wide and it’s a whopping 1.5 inches tall (127mm x 57mm x 38mm).
This long, flat and wide piece is rocky terrain and perfect for a bulette or other beefy, elephantine critter. It’s 6.25 inches long and 3.75 inches wide and only an inch thick (159mm x 95mm x 25mm).
This thick piece of bark is great for smaller miniatures and has a prominent point at one end. It’s a still a nice rectangular shape at 2.5 inches long by 1.5 inches by 1 inch thick (64mm x 38mm x 25mm). Imagine your mounted officer, unicorn or great cat stretched along the length of it.
The piece has a neat spur out to 3.75 inches with off the base 2.5 inches and 1.75 inches by 3/4 inch thick (102mm x 50mm x 20mm). The spur would be great for large predator cats or similar animals.
The bark of the bur oak round is thick and provides an excellent natural outer ring to this piece. Imagine your ogre or hellacious demon standing proudly atop. The piece is roughly 2 inches around and a quarter inch thick (51mm x 51mm x 6mm). The outer bark is over a quarter inch thick in places.
These round cottonwood pieces are hard to get solid pieces with the bark intact. These survived cutting, sanding and finishing. The shapes of the bark on the cottonwood are awesome. At nearly twice the thickness of our other rounds, the weight of the cottonwood is the same giving it bulk but not the weight. The rounds are 1.75 inches around and half an inch high (45mm round x 12mm).
